Luqaimat – Sweet Arabic dumpling

  • 1 cup Flour
  • 2 tablespoons Milk powder
  • Cooking oil
  • 1 cup Warm water
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • Syrup or honey
  • 1 teaspoon Yeast
  • 50 grams Pistachio
  • 1 tablespoon Starch
  1. Let’s make the sweet Arabic dumpling. First, prepare all the ingredients above.

  2. Second, in a bowl, Add flour, milk powder, yeast, starch, and salt. Mix well.

  3. Third, add 1 cup of warm water and knead the mixture until you get a smooth and soft dough.

  4. Next, Cover the bowl well and let the dough rest for about 30 minutes until the dough has fermented and doubled in size.

  5. After that, heat the cooking oil in a pan on medium heat. Put the dough in a pastry bag, cut the end of it with scissors, and pour the dough slowly into the oil until balls are formed.

  6. Next, flip the Luqaimat balls until turns into a nice golden brown color.

  7. After that, put the hot sweet balls in the syrup or honey then remove them and put them on a flat plate.

  8. Finally, you can sprinkle some ground nuts on top. Cheers!!!
