Ingredients
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Toppings (use whatever you want)
Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.

  2. Heat the milk in a saucepan or microwave until it is warm but not hot.

  3. Add the warm milk and olive oil to the mixing bowl and stir until the dough comes together.

  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-10 minutes, until it is smooth and elastic.

  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a damp cloth. Let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.

  6. Punch down the dough and roll it out into the desired shape and size.

  7. Add your favorite toppings and bake in a preheated oven at 450°F for 10-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Note
  • Use warm milk, not hot or cold milk.
  • Make sure your yeast is fresh and active to ensure that the dough rises properly.
  • Knead the dough well to develop gluten, which will give the crust a chewy texture.
  • Let the dough rise in a warm place, such as an oven with the light on or a warm spot in your kitchen.
  • Use a pizza stone or preheat your baking sheet to ensure that the crust cooks evenly.
  • Don’t overload your pizza with toppings, as this can prevent the crust from cooking properly.
