Preheat your oven to 425°F.
Begin by preparing the vegetables. Slice the red, yellow, and green bell peppers into thin strips. Peel and chop the onion into small pieces. Mince the garlic.
Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onion is translucent.
Add the sliced bell peppers to the skillet and sauté for an additional 5-7 minutes until the peppers are slightly softened.
Add 1 can of tomato sauce to the skillet and stir well. Season with 1 teaspoon of dried basil, 1 teaspoon of dried oregano, and salt and pepper to taste.
Roll out your pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness.
Spread the tomato sauce mixture evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
Sprinkle 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the pizza.
Arrange the sautéed bell peppers over the cheese.
Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove the pizza from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
