In a large bowl, mix together the corn kernels, flour, grated cheddar cheese, green onions, butter, parsley, salt and pepper.
Using your hands, shape the mixture into 1 1/2 inch balls.
Heat the oil in a deep saucepan over medium heat.
Once the oil is hot, gently place the cheese balls into the oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
Remove the cheese balls from the oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
